How to download and install Android Application

Due to a change in Android specifications, this application cannot be newly installed via Google Play Store temporarily after November 1, 2025.
Therefore, please read the "How to install the app" below to install the app.

How to connect with Display Audio

Sound sharing: by Bluetooth connection
Screen sharing: by USB cable connection

Remarks

Can share any smartphone application to Display Audio.

Some functions may do not work by operation on Display Audio depending on the connected device.

Set permissions for the Mirroring for KENWOOD application

Preparation

Pair your receiver to your smartphone with Bluetooth.
For details, see the instruction manual of the receiver.
- Set TEL (HFP) 1/2, Audio (A2DP)/App (SPP), and Mirroring profiles.
- Set HFP: Hands Free1/Hands Free2 and A2DP/SPP: Audio/App profiles.

Android OS

1. 1) Launch Mirroring for KENWOOD App on your Android Smartphone.
2. 2) Press "OK" to start Mirroring for KENWOOD.
   
3. 3) Turn on "Overlay Permission" of Mirroring for KENWOOD.
   
4. 4) Turn on "Allow access" to be able to filter drive-safe apps.
   
5. 5) Press "OK"
   
6. 6) Press "Start now" to start capturing your Android screen.
   

NOTE: This application uses the following permission.

• Accessibility Service
• Display over other apps

iOS

1. 1) On your iPhone, launch “Settings”. Touch “Control Center” and then “Customize Controls”.
   
2. 2) Touch “Screen Recording” and add to “INCLUDE” list.
   
3. 3) Launch Control Center of your iPhone, touch and hold Screen Recording icon and then touch “Mirroring for KENWOOD” and start broadcast.

How to install the app

1. APK file download

1. ① Click the app icon below to download the APK file.
2. ② The message "File might be harmful" will be displayed when downloading.
   At that time, select "Download anyway" in the message box.

2. App installation

1. ① When the download is complete, the APK file will be displayed in the notification bar, so click it to install.
   
   • If you have closed the notification bar, click the "Download" icon in the app menu to display a part of the downloaded file.
   • If there is no "Download" icon in the app menu, please use the file manager app or download it again.
2. ② The message "For your security, your phone currently isn't allowed to install unknown apps from this source. You can change this in Settings." will be displayed when installing.
   At that time, enable "Allow from this source" in "Settings" in the message box.
3. ③ When the installation has been completed, press “Open” to start the application.
